These terms are the agreement between you and Reply200 Inc. for using Bewary. We have kept them plain. By using Bewary, you agree to them.
Read this first. Bewary gives you a fast, informed opinion on whether something looks like a scam. It is a decision aid, not a guarantee. No tool can catch every scam or clear every safe message. Always use your own judgment, especially around money.
The service
Bewary is a scam-intelligence service. Through the API, the MCP server, the command-line tool and bulk files it returns verdicts, facts and history about messages, screenshots, links, domains, IP addresses, phone numbers, short codes, email addresses, wallets, IBANs, apps and payment handles, and watches send you an event when one of them changes. The free tools on bewary.app make the same calls.
Not professional advice, and not a guarantee
Verdicts are automated assessments and can be wrong in both directions. A "safe" result is not a promise that something is safe, and a "scam" result is not a legal accusation. Bewary is not legal, financial, or security advice. You are responsible for your own decisions, including any decision to send money, share information, or trust a contact.
Your account
Your Bewary account uses passwordless sign-in. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone who can read your inbox can sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@bewary.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
Credits and billing
Every call costs the credits listed on the pricing page. A free account gets free credits each month. Every API call needs a key. The free checkers on this website have a small daily allowance for people checking a link or a number. Paid credits come in prepaid credit packs, one-time purchases billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Prepaid credits never expire, and nothing renews.
Two things can spend credits without a call from you, and only if you set them up. A watch costs credits each day, charged a day ahead, and pauses when your balance cannot pay for the next day. Auto top-up is off unless you turn it on: then, when your balance falls below the threshold you chose, it buys the pack you chose with the card you saved, at most once each time the balance crosses the threshold. You can turn it off at any time on your account page. We may change prices, with notice on the pricing page before the change takes effect.
The Bewary API and MCP server
The API and the MCP server let you check messages, links, numbers and addresses from your own software. These rules apply on top of the rest of these terms.
- Use in your product. You may call the API from your apps, services and AI agents, automatically and in batches, and show its verdicts and reasons to your users.
- Keys. Keep your keys secret and on your server. You are responsible for calls made with your keys. We may revoke a key that has leaked or is being abused.
- Credits. Free monthly credits reset on the first day of each month, in UTC. A call that fails on our side is not charged.
- Limits. We may rate limit any key or address to keep the service fast for everyone. Do not spread calls over many keys or addresses to get around a limit.
- Your users' data. You must have the right to send us what your software sends, and you should tell your users that a third-party service checks it. The Privacy Policy says what a check keeps.
- Decisions about people. Verdicts can be wrong. If you use one to refuse someone a service, for example to block a sign-up, give them a way to reach a person.
- Bulk files and reuse. You may use API answers and bulk files inside your own products and systems, for example to block, score or flag. Keep the notice each bulk file carries with any copy you make. Do not resell, republish or sublicense the answers or the files as a list, feed or service of your own. For redistribution rights, write to support@bewary.app.
- Changes. Version 1 of the API only grows: we add fields, reason codes and endpoints, and never rename or remove them. A change that would break working code ships as a new version, announced in the changelog first.
Acceptable use
Use Bewary to protect your product, your users and yourself. You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload, or scrape the service, or query it automatically other than through the API within its limits
- Resell or redistribute access without our written permission, beyond what the API section above allows
- Reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the service or its security
- Use Bewary to harass, surveil, or harm anyone, or to break any law
We may meter, rate limit, suspend, or terminate access that breaks these rules or threatens the service for others.
Intellectual property
Bewary, its name, design, and software are owned by Reply200 Inc. and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service as intended. Everything you submit remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to process it, run the service and improve detection, as our Privacy Policy describes.
Disclaimers
Bewary is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every verdict will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Reply200 Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a decision you made using Bewary. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to cover us against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You can stop using Bewary and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue after termination.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and, for account holders, notify you by email. Continuing to use Bewary after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
